Zoey Campbell is a highly motivated and compassionate attorney with a passion for justice. With a background in defending underrepresented and underprivileged tenants at Bay Area Legal Aid, she brings a unique perspective to our practice, emphasizing a drive to succeed with a deep commitment to purpose and problem solving. Zoey’s experience, attention to detail, and analytical skills have made her a valuable asset to the firm. She is dedicated to providing Ad Astra’s clients with the best possible representation and always puts their needs first.

While in pursuing her law degree, Zoey was a key part in helping assist children detained in federal immigration facilities through the school’s immigration clinic. She continues to actively engage in mutual aid in Oakland and East Bay communities.

Outside of work, Zoey enjoys tending to a garden and prefers to cook what she grows. She is also a doting mother of two cats and attentive aunt for a good friend’s dog.

Zoey has clerked for the Alameda County Office of the Public Defender, in addition to serving as a Legal Fellow at UC Davis. With experience gained at the law college’s immigration clinic, she went on to excel as a staff attorney at Bay Area Legal Aid. Zoey also prides herself in staying abreast of changes to procedural and substantive law. She has helped prepare multiple cases for trial and settled a respectable amount to satisfaction.
